Hi,
I used to own a baby wear shop and was constantly asked for Christening jewellery to accessorise the gowns I sold. Having never made costume jewellery before, I thought I would give it a go. I researched a lot to make sure that the materials I wanted to use were safe for precious little arms. I made a couple of very small bracelets to see how my customers would react and their reactions inspired me to continue making them. I now make handmade jewellery full time and love to see people wearing my work and listening to all the lovely comments people have to say about my designs. Having moved to the beautiful West Coast of Scotland I am excited to include hand picked sea glass from my local beach. I use a medium called Silver Clay and incorporate Sea Glass, Semi precious gemstones, Swarovski Crystals & Freshwater Pearls.
Almost all of my silver clay pieces have my own hallmark on, which is completed by The Edinburgh Assay Office which guarantees the silver content and gives my work authenticity.
