I have really sensitive skin so, when I was young, couldn't wear the costume jewellery my friends wore and started making my own by stringing beads, making simple earrings with copper wire and glass beads.
Over time I learned various skills and techniques going from simple jewellery to intricate beadwork and wirewrapping - which led me into a love of metalsmithing after attending silversmithing courses at my local college.
I work from home - in a small studio set up in a room in my house - looking out over the garden. There's nothing like closing the door, putting on my apron and sitting at my bench ready to create something new. Handmade jewellery, to me, means so much more than mass produced pieces from the high street and I really enjoy the process of designing and making individual pieces.
The jewellery in my shop ranges from simple earrings that can be worn again and again with any outfit - to more detailed statement pieces that are one of a kind.

All the silver I use is recycled, I research to ensure any stones come from suppliers who buy ethically and, as far as possible, I use eco-friendly options in my processes.
