About Minouche

Minouche

Lino Printing is my thing

I am Becki Mapplebeck, also known as Minouche and I create lino prints inspired by the Yorkshire Coast and the North York Moors.

Helping people explore their creativity & develop new skills through printmaking workshops. I hold workshops and art tutor classes around Guisborough and Saltburn and have a studio in Redcar.

Linocutting is a type of relief printmaking in which areas of the lino are gouged out, and the ink is then rolled onto the raised surface to make a print.

Printing Paper is laid over the lino surface and passed through a printing press to take an impression, reduction lino printing takes a number of passes through the press with different colors and staged reduction by gouging the linoleum at each ink stage.

I also exhibit at various craft fairs and my lino prints are available online.
