Story time...
I trained to be a theatre designer originally, but after finishing my M.A I realised very quickly that it wasn't the world in which I wanted to work. I instead turned to running art workshops for children, LOTS of children, which I LOVED. And then I had children of my own and everything stopped. For a while. In 2010 my sister was due to give birth and as a gift painted the nursery with a beautiful mural, my sister was overjoyed....and I remembered what I was supposed to be doing in life. Making beautiful art to make people (including me ) happy! And that was it . I haven't looked back since. I just love to make beautiful art to make people feel happy and smile.
My work tends to be a whimsical mix of adorable characters, intricate details, and magical settings, and I’m very much inspired by nature and the natural world. I adore colour and would describe my work as vibrant, playful and happy.
When I’m not working on custom or digital images, I can be found painting huge animal/character sculptures for the Wild In Art trails around the country – these are some of my absolute favourite projects to be a part of!
Apart from a few original artworks in the shop , most of the items in the shop are prints & products , but I am more than happy to consider any commission/project/book illustration requests, so please do contact me to discuss further.
Wonderful piece from Marnie, as always. This one was sent to a friend that has been poorly and it made her smile, which was the intention, so job done! Asked Marnie to pop a wee note in, which she did. Thank you so much Marnie! Will be buying again and couldn't recommend her highly enough. Her art is beautiful.

I adore Marnie's art and have a wall dedicated to it in my dining room. We are redecorating our bedroom, so I have decided to use some more prints to brighten up the walls. Marnie's art never fails to make me smile.
