Mark set up this company because of his passion for good design. He has a background in both furniture design and lighting. “I have always loved to look at good design, whether it be something designed to work well; or something that is a beautiful object. My main influences are modern design, drawing many of my influences from the early 20th century modernist movement and the Bauhaus school. I am also interested in Scandinavian design which shares the same ideals.
The saying ‘form follows function’ is very important to the look of our products.
True to these influences and rules mark lowe has been created to design and manufacture simple and beautiful designs that perform a function well. The products are designed to be hand made in batches, again drawing from another influence ‘The Arts and Crafts movement’ of the late 19th century. They are not ‘One offs’ but quality hand made products made for people who love well designed objects.
Description of MLASL01
The adjustable standard lamp by mark lowe is a unique and beautiful design.
Influenced by Modernism, De Stijl and Scandinavian design. The floor lamp has been designed, engineered and is manufacture in Nottingham to the highest standards.
As well as fitting into any tastefully furnished room, the lamp is practical too, allowing the user to adjust its height to suit different uses.
We are very proud of this product. We use the highest quality materials and fittings hand make a product that will give you pleasure for years.
Returns Policy
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
We are very confident that you will love and enjoy your mark lowe product for many years. However, if there are any problems:
You can return your product within 30 days of receipt if you don’t like it and we’ll give you a full refund, providing the item comes back to us in perfect condition.
If it’s damaged on arrival let us know by email and then send it back to us within 14 days of the delivery date and, when we've received it, we’ll send you a new one.
If you would like to speak to us personally, send us an email with your phone number and we’ll give you a call back as soon as we can, usually within 3 days.
Items should be unused, returned in their original packaging and in a fully resalable condition.
A charge may be applied if an order is cancelled after it has been despatched.
