Beautiful spoon rings, made in Sheffield.

My name is Lynn. I live in Sheffield, right on the edge of the Peak District. I have been making rings from silver spoons for last 15 years and selling them at local craft fairs but I thought it might be fun to try selling some of them online. There are so many beautiful silver spoons which are rarely used anymore and I like to think that by remaking them into a ring these designs will be around for a long time to come. I mostly use coffee spoons because they are a little shorter and daintier than teaspoons. All of my rings are marked by Sheffield Assay Office with my very own hallmark as it’s a legal requirement to have silver items re-hallmarked if you have altered them significantly, as in the case of changing a spoon into a ring.
