I sew, I knit, I upholster, I make things pretty!

It intrigues me how chairs are made! I love removing all the old upholstery from chairs and puzzling how to make them beautiful again. From choosing the right colours and styles of material to the way of applying all the layers. I love experimenting and the struggle to get it just right. I often find myself lying in bed puzzling out how to do the next stage and what to do with the left overs!

When I visit peoples houses or go round a shop I find myself examining chairs and cushions and other fabric things to work out how they are done. I must look very odd but who cares I am curious!

In the rest of my life I love working with young people and I love God!

I have 3 grown up and married kids, 2 adorable granddaughters and a dog called Archie.
