Handspun Luxury Yarn

Mammoth Woolies is based in the leafy outskirts of London. Here the drop spindle is tool of choice, with an occasional foray into hand dying and carding! Possessing an innate s̶n̶o̶b̶b̶e̶r̶y̶ affinity for luxury, Mammoth Woolies seeks out as many exotic and soft fibres as possible!

It's been a bit of a meandering path to get here (a path many fibre artists seem to take!), initially driven by a desire to make the perfect hair falls. The enjoyment of spinning lasted much longer than the alternative phase that necessitated the hair falls and soon yarn had populated like tribbles about the house. What started as a hobby had grown to epic proportions and selling seemed like the natural progression.

Mammoth Woolies has participated in two Festiwool shows (one at the Hertfordshire County Show) and looks forward to participating in more.

The focus here is on lively colours, soft and luxurious handle and wonderfully knittable yarn for your projects!

Mammoth Woolies HQ is shared by two cats, neither of whom have access to (nor interest in) the yarn and fibre.
