I’ve always been a bit of a magpie — drawn to shiny things, unusual finds and objects with a story to tell. Combine that with my love of the outdoors, woodland, folklore and a hint of Wiccan magic, and Magpie & Moss was born. I love taking forgotten and overlooked pieces and imagining what they could become, transforming old cutlery, interesting metals and little treasures into jewellery, bookmarks, keyrings and decorative pieces. My inspiration comes from mossy woodland, ferns, moonlight and the beautiful iridescent colours of a magpie’s feathers. I love things that feel vintage, folky and a little unusual, and I believe the marks and quirks of a piece’s previous life are part of what makes it special. Everything is made by hand in small quantities, so each piece has its own character and story. Foraged & Found. Beautifully Imperfect.
