Folksy shop closing soon!

We have been working hard on a big project to re-launch our fabric and homeware business. I have been with folksy for many years, the team have always been extremely supportive and I have had some lovely customers. However, the time has come to focus on our new webshop lizziemabley.co.uk and as such we will shortly be closing our shop here. There are a few items to snap up!

Hand printed and digitally printed fabrics and homeware.

I am drawn to pattern, colour and repetition. This is conveyed in my textile designs. I draw inspiration from nature, my garden and love of the coast.
I always begin my designs using lino block prints which I then transfer to silk screens for a cleaner, more solid print that still tells the story of its handmade origin. More recently I have been exploring digital print and now selected designs are available by the metre, printed digitally to a high standard using eco-friendly processes.
Block prints are so popular at the moment, many designers are using traditional methods and techniques and embracing the craftmanship behind them.
I hope my designs make you smile, they are up-lifting, fresh and welcoming, I like to surround myself with colour and joy!

I make lampshades, cushions, napkins and tea towels out of my printed fabrics, often using linens which produce a beautiful texture.

You might have seen me recently on BBCs Countryfile! It was lovely to show presenter Joe Crowley around my studio and show him how to make a lino print. The show was based around Snowdrops, so we printed a snowdrop tote bag! The episode is available on iplayer.
