Living in Cornwall I'm constantly inspired by our rugged Cornish coastline and the nature that surrounds it. From collecting washed up pieces of sea glass to turn into jewellery to taking inspiration from the colours and textures around us and using them in my artwork.
I achieved a Fine Art Degree at Edinburgh College of Art specialising in Printmaking many moons ago but then went down a different route. My talented husband recently made me a beautiful little wooden press (hence the name of my shop) and so I'm now determined to get my fingers inky again.
I try and be as eco-friendly as possible and keep all packaging plastic free, using tissue paper, compostable film wrapping, reusable cardboard boxes and paper tape.
I design, make, photograph and package everything whilst being closely watched by my four legged assistants 'Razz' our little Bordoodle and 'Ozzy' our big hairy Lurcher!!
