A BIG hello, from littlefaceknits!

First of all THANK YOU for taking the time to visit my shop, you clearly have excellent taste.

I suppose I should tell you a little bit about myself...

From a very young age I loved art and design, but never ever dreamed about doing something creative as a career and so off I went to become a chartered accountant. (That's another story!) Then one day a work colleague sent round an email asking for people to donate knitted and crocheted items for the premature baby unit at the local hospital. Well, I jumped straight to it. Just one small problem: I couldn't really knit or crochet.

I have been knitting and crocheting gifts for the special people in my life ever since and one of my biggest influences and champions is my five year old nephew. No trip to see him is complete without him uttering the immortal sentence "Manda, could you make me a..."

It gives me such pleasure to make unique, quirky, personal gifts. Each item that I make is 100% handmade with love and designed to put a smile on the face of someone special.
