About Les Bijoux d’Amandine

Les Bijoux d’Amandine

Original handmade jewellery

Hello,

My name is Amandine and I am a maker. I started out making jewellery back in 2016 with polymer clay (Fimo) out of which I made statement pieces, always colourful and often asymmetric (I used to trade as the Lopsided Studio). And the pandemic hit. That is when I finally took the plunge to sign up to an intensive silversmithing course. Since then, I have attended several classes and workshops to keep learning new techniques and to refine my skills. Recently, I made the decision to reopen a small online shop to turn my ideas into actual pieces and to share them with like-minded jewellery lovers.

I feel very lucky to have my own studio space in the middle of my garden. My other half and I put a lot of love into revamping an old summer house last year but the result was worth every drop of sweat and we now share a bright cosy work space with wood all over and even an underfloor heating system (amazing luxury!).

An enthusiast by nature, I to put a lot of passion and commitment into the things I undertake. When I am not at the studio, I study art history (another thing I started during the pandemic, excited to say I will graduate in 2025!), or you will find me looking after my houseplants, my garden or my children. All of these inspire me to explore materials and styles that I can combine into original elegant pieces.

Thank you for your interest and welcome to my world :)
