Welcome to LEAPUP!
My name is Leanne Warren (aka crazy dog lady) and I sell colourful dog pop art, handmade dog accessories and custom pet portraits. All of the items for sale are designed and 'made with woof' in Whickham, just outside of Newcastle upon Tyne, North East England. I'm assisted by my black Labrador, Sophia and two rescues Amber and Tia. I also have numerous other fury four legged volunteers who occasionally strike a pose and do a spot of modelling for me.
My business is about creating original dog art that is fun and vibrant, inspired by my own dogs, and the passion I've had for animals since being very young. I love photography and my work is hand illustrated from my original photographs (or photographs supplied by customers) and then coloured and pattern is added digitally on my computer using Photoshop.
I love working with customers to create something extra special for them, for example a memorial piece that I was commissioned to complete as gift and a one off pet portrait and dog bandanna gift set that was given as a birthday gift.
The majority of my prints for sale are 'giclée', these are printed digitally onto the finest acid free 100% cotton rag paper using archival quality pigment inks. Giclée prints have the most vibrant depth of colour and quality and I love packaging and sending them off in the post knowing that they are the finest quality.
