I'm Laura, I'm fascinated by our precious natural world and I create my wildlife papercuts and illustrations in Scotland in my lovely wee workshop in my highland garden.
I studied art for many years and then after moving up north from Southern England I started to specialise in intricate papercuts of the beautiful local wildlife of Scotland.
I love the challenge of using just one sheet of paper and a craft knife to bring a design to life. It's an eco-friendly process and even the tiny bits of cut paper left behind get composted!
When the fragile papercut is completed it is very carefully digitally scanned and then printed with eco inks onto 100% recycled Kraftcard and as beautiful art prints on thick recycled card.
All my items arrive plastic free in a cardboard envelope and carefully wrapped in tissue paper.
I hope my designs capture my love of nature and deep respect for our environment x
