Artisan woodturning, one-of-a-kind hardwoods

Welcome to My Craft

From childhood, creativity has been at the heart of my life. Growing up with parents who shared a deep love of crafting, I was immersed in a world where imagination met skill. That early influence led me to a lifelong passion for working with wood—first as a joiner and furniture maker, and now as a dedicated artisan.

My journey into woodturning began by watching my late father transform raw timber into objects of beauty. His artistry sparked something enduring in me: a commitment to shaping one-of-a-kind pieces that carry both character and craftsmanship. While my style has evolved into its own vision, the devotion to creating meaningful, lasting work remains unchanged.

Every design I make is unique and crafted to the highest standard—pieces I would proudly display in my own home.

Sustainability is central to my work, and it’s a value I share deeply with my wife, an environmental scientist. Together, we believe that beauty and responsibility must go hand in hand. The exotic hardwoods I use are responsibly sourced here in the UK, often reclaimed from the stock of former craftsmen or salvaged from trees damaged in storms or felled with care.

My pens, in particular, are truly unique: each one turned from rare and unusual hardwoods, paired with precision inner workings and quality inks. Each pen carries not only a story of artistry, but also of heritage and respect for the environment.
