Creating textile cards and artwork since 2015.

Hello, my name is Katie and I live in a small village in Staffordshire, England. I created Katie Victoria Designs in January 2015 when I was just 18 years-old, and I work at home in a converted summer house at the bottom of my garden. I focus on creating embroidered textile greetings cards, each of which are completely unique, however I also really love creating textile artwork as commission pieces for customers with specific requests. I take images of special places, pets, people or things that are special to the client and turn them into a contemporary piece of embroidered textile artwork. I use freehand embroidery techniques combined with beautiful printed fabrics to create unique pieces.

Since Katie Victoria Designs was created it has grown into a successful small business which I am incredibly proud of and I could never have imagined how much it has grown in just 2 years! I have now started selling at local craft fairs, in local shops, and here on Folksy. I love nothing more than sitting behind my sewing machine designing and making my own textile cards and artwork and I hope that in the years to come I can grow the business even further.
