Hello. I'm Katie and I am the maker behind Katie's Shed.
I'm new to Folksy although I have been doing this for a while.
I started free motion sewing ten years and ago and addiction ensued. I am self taught - once I started I just couldn't stop!
I have been lucky enough to do Katie's Shed full time for 9 years and I love what I do. I feel extremely lucky to have the most amazing customers who return for their Birthday badges and keepsakes for every special occasion.

I love cute fabrics, buttons and ribbons, at the moment I am particularly loving pastel colours and Liberty fabrics.
I live on the island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, UK and have a mini schnauzer called Trixie, we enjoy country walks early in the mornings before I get on with my day's sewing while Trixie gets on with her day's snoozing!
Most days you can find me in my home studio busy creating pretty keepsakes.

I ordered the three Christmas card set and pig in blanket.
All made to a high standard and I loved the lavender filled pig in blanket.
This was an unexpected surprise.
I would highly recommend also wrapped well and delivered in good time.Considering came all the way from Jersey
