Whimsical Wildlife and Seaside Snippings

Hello, I’m Kate and I’m an artist living in Worcestershire who creates whimsical and nature inspired art with cut paper collage and vinyl.

I started my paper snipping journey in 2019 when, after experimenting with watercolour and pencil sketching for some years, I wanted to try something new. Very recently I got into creating designs on my iPad and cutting them into vinyl, this provides me with the added ability of customising certain items especially for you.

I absolutely adore cut paper collage. I love making my own collage paper by splashing and rolling acrylic paint across paper to create an exciting range of colours and textures. I find it magical when the snipping begins, how you can create vast mountains and sprawling beaches all through a few cuts with the scissors. My love of the coast, my dream to live by the sea, and my interest in nature influences a lot of my work.
