Love Betty is more of a lifestyle than a brand.
Inspired by womenfolk in my family who made do and mended (not to mention the glamorous 50's outfits they left as a legacy) I started customising and upcycling clothes in my teens on a hand Singer machine.
As a self taught dressmaker I naturally upcycled and customised my family as it grew, altering and changing to fit and extend the life of clothes that my two boys rapidly grew out of.
A few years ago life took a change and I had to look for work that I could do on my own terms and Love Betty upcycled her way into my life.
In case anyone is interested Betty is not named after my glamorous grandmother or my lovely mum. She is named for one of my chickens. Betty was a rescue who was really upcycled herself and really, what's not to Love about Betty?
