Hello, I’m Karen Lolotte — a self‑taught British watercolour artist working from my cosy little studio in Suffolk. I’m inspired by the countryside around me, the quiet beauty of the Lake District, the soft light along the East Anglian coast, and those peaceful rural places that feel like home. I love the soft colours of spring, the warm glow of autumn, the haziness of winter and the bright, joyful sunshine of summer. Even a rainy day has its own kind of magic on paper.

Painting is my passion, and when I’m not at my desk with a brush in hand, you’ll usually find me walking my dog through the fields or tending to my allotment — both places where new ideas often begin.
