I am Juliet Leech, a crochet artist and designer who specialises in creating unique and beautiful toys, plushies, accessories and home decor. I trained in crochet with a top creator and handmade specialist - my nan. She taught me everything she knew, and then through new patterns, modern technology, and the wonder of instagram, I learnt anything she didn't know how to teach me. All in all, I have been crocheting for over 10 years, and absolutely love being able to turn yarn into something beautiful!
My work combines the beauty of handmade products, with modern styles and trends, allowing me to design and make unique plushies, stylish key rings, homewares and gifts to suit any style and age. No matter who you're buying for, you will be able to find something they will love on my store, and if you can't then please reach out and we can design something together!
Most of my creations come from my mind, and I often don't use patterns at all. However, I do design and sell patterns for some of my own creations, and hope that it will allow people to enjoy making their own version if they are also crafters who love a challenge. I am often inspired by the things around me, and my love of animals and plants, so you will find a lot of items that are themed along those lines in my store. However, my favourite people to create things for are my children, and so super soft toys and plushies are my favourite thing to make, and great for children, first birthdays or baby showers as well!
All my toys are UKCA tested and approved, I often choose not to use UKCA approved safety eyes, and instead embroider faces onto my creations for my peace of mind as well. Beyond that, a good proportion of my initial creations were tried and tested by my 2-year-old, who's play attitude resembles that of a Tasmanian Devil.
