I am Julie and, together with my partner, we are Julie Neil Designs.
I am currently a District Nurse and, although I love my job, I have recently been diagnosed with a condition that means I may not be able to continue doing this for very much longer. What began as a hobby has developed into a small business which we hope will continue to grow.
I take a lot of my inspiration for my designs from my love of animals, especially cats and I am lucky that I am surrounded by seven of them, so there is plenty of inspiration!
Our products are made in our small workshop in our garden in the beautiful county of Shropshire. Although slightly chaotic at times, I find my time in the workshop to be peaceful and a great way to destress in the evenings or at the end of my working week. I have found a love for crafting that I never knew I had. As well as the products produced in the workshop, I have also recently begun to knit and hope to be able to add some of my pieces to the shop in the near future.
We stock a range of laser etched and CNC products, including coasters, serving boards, key rings and wall signs. Many of our products can be personalised and can be made in various sizes depending on the needs of the customer.
Some of our coasters, keyrings and wall decorations personalised with images of their own cats, are currently stocked by Tabby Teas Cat Café in Sheffield.
