Buying from me
I'm John-Paul Flintoff, and I love making things - including paintings, drawings, prints, notebooks, clothing and toys. ¶
My day job is writing for newspapers, but I've written a lot about the pleasure of making things, and in favour of crafts - notably in my book, Sew Your Own, which has been variously described as wonderful, amazing, funny, warm, inspiring, moving and utterly brilliant. (Order it at your library!) ¶

My shop takes its name from my old teacher, Ivor Cutler, who cycled to school on what he called his Fresh Air Machine. I think he was a bit of a fresh air machine himself, and I aspire to be one, too. ¶

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
