Who's the lass behind Jolly Dee?
I'm Ruth. The whole universe inspires me. Therefore I am a girl with a lot of ideas. I drink way more coffee than I should. Jolly Dee is an outlet for me to get creative, but with a purpose. That purpose is to cheer people up and to make them smile. It also gives my own life more purpose and self-confidence. Being a creative designer and shop owner has been an absolute dream of mine since I was young - dreaming dreams on a Norfolk beach with a flask of coffee, a slice of my Nan’s Parkin, nestled behind a windbreak, with my nose in a craft book every summer break! The value of cheerfulness is a choice to be noticeably happy and optimistic. Many exclaim that I always look happy. I always aim to be cheerful which helps me to focus on the positives in everyday situations. I strive to bring this value to Jolly Dee – an old English expression meaning ‘Jolly Delightful’.
