Print ∆ Paint ∆ Create

I am a self taught artist from Dorset. I love colour and experimentation and take most of my inspiration from nature. I enjoy dabbling and exploring all sorts of media but have a particular love of lino printing.

My lino prints are hand drawn (the inverse of the desired print) onto a piece of lino and intricately carved using a range of hand cutting tools, then a layer of ink is applied and the image printed individually using a press. It doesn't matter how many times I make a print there is nothing like seeing the actual image for the first time when you peel back the paper - as you only ever see the mirror image beforehand - it's my favourite part!

All of my pieces are designed and created in my small studio in beautiful North Dorset.
