Welcome to Joanna Wright Art. For over 25 years, I have been designing and creating handmade cards for my family and friends, and I suppose it is that life long passion of drawing and design what has led me to open my little shop today. Working from my studio here in beautiful Wiltshire, every single piece in my collection starts its life as a hand-drawn illustration in my sketch book, a canvas, a scrap of paper or here on my iPad. I love nostalgia, that feeling and connection you get when you look at an object from the past, a cup, a piece of fabric, and I see it popping up over and over in my work which I also love :)
All of my cards are made using 300gsm natural 100% FSC-certified card stock from responsibly managed forests. It has a beautiful uncoated finish which offers some beautiful vibrant colour prints and is very lovely to hold. It does have a learning curve though, but after 6+ years of solely using this card as my signature stock, I think I have had plenty of practice. In fact, some of my very first cards I ever printed on it are still sitting proudly on my shelf today, looking just as bright and beautiful as the day they were made. I am so pleased to finally bring that same premium, lasting quality straight to you.
