About Dog Dust

Dog Dust

Hello everyone!

I'm an artist and illustrator based in the North West. For now what you see here are my little ceramic sculptures of animals. Making things in ceramic is one of major passions in life. My sculptures tend to be fairly small with the largest being 13 inches tall and the smallest under an inch.
The first thing people usually notice about my ceramics is how many dogs I make. This is due to dogs being so varied and how expressive they are...and that i like them. I have a great big fluffy rough collie who is the love of my life.
I find the texture and patterns of animals translate really nicely into Ceramics as they can be so vibrant.
Although ceramics are a favourite media of mine, I enjoy working in other media including ink, collage, fabric and digital
My work follows three main themes- studies, surreal and humorous. They frequently cross over.
Im hoping to list prints of my drawn and painted work in the near future.
