I cannot sit still and need to be trying something new!

Hello, I am a 65 year old frustrated artist who never went to Art School! When I was 16 I had to get a job and there were no opportunities for going to Art School.
In 2012 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and needed something to get my head straight through the Chemotherapy etc, so I decided to play around with Art and Craft mainly Watercolours and I suppose it resurrected my interest in art and craft. I have tried lots of different things and some I like and some I don’t ( or maybe because I don’t get it right !)
I love Northumberland as my Mum was born there and her family go back generations and were mainly lived in villages around Hadrians Wall, which I love and it inspired my son to become an Archaeologist and a specialist in Roman History. Many of my paintings and Crafts are inspired by the Northumberland countryside and coastline.
My daughter keeps saying to me that I should sell my work, but I never think it’s good enough, I have recently been asked to sell my Decoupage Shells at a local cafe and they have been selling like mad, so I have decided to give it ago online.
I hope you like my shells, My two cats and dog are looking at me to be feed so must go for now.
