I Huiyi & David Platt am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

Jewellery in our shop are all handmade using the traditional method which has been used to make jewellery for thousands of years. If you haven't found what you want in my shop, please contact me for any idea in your mind. Together, we could make it happen.
Our typical dispatching time is 1-4 working days unless specified.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
We have been working very hard to offer you our best work. In the case that you want to return the jewellery you have purchased, we offer the following policy:
Rings:
All rings are custom made to fit your size, and therefore are non-refundable. If you are not sure about your ring size before ordering, please purchase the plastic ring sizer from my shop to have your finger measured. Alternatively, you could have your fingers measured at your local jewelry shop. If you have ordered a wrong size by mistake, I can resize it to the correct one for a charge.
Other Personalized items besides rings:
All personalized items are non-refundable, as they are consided custom made.
All other non custom made items:
Non custom made items are returnable for a full refund of the item within 14 days of receiving your parcel in their original condition. Postage is not refundable. Shipping charges for sending back the items are the buyer's responsibility. For your protection, we recommend you to use a tracking service to return your items. HuiyiTan is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. After 14 days of receiving your parcel, all sells are final.
Faulty items are eligible for exchanging. All faulty items need to be reported within 14 days of receiving your parcle. After 14 days of receiving your parcel, all sells are final.
