Love to knit and to sew, with fabrics and yarn, will give it a go

Sewing is something I taught myself many years ago. Started with childrens clothes and then ventured into curtains and blinds for my old cottage. I rediscovered my passion for sewing recently when I needed a project. For the first time I made myself something , a dress. I haven't put my trusty sewing machine away since.
As well as clothing , I like to sew items that are useful.
I then made little bag to put a few odds in and had the idea to make gift bags. With xmas approaching , I thought it would great to have a bag that can be reused. ( I have reused paper bags for years but they get tatty quickly)
You can give a gift that is easily wrapped, but also has a other use for the receiver, so a double gift really!
The bag can be reused as a gift bag, or could be used to put xmas baubles away in, or put away that special xmas decoration we all like to get out every year.
We all throw away so much waste , but these bags are sustainable with multiple uses.
I also love knitting. I knit the usual jumpers, cardigans, gloves, scarves , hats. Again I am self taught and so enjoy either giving a knitted gift or wearing my own makes.
