Welcome to my Folksy shop. Every handmade piece here helps support Hope and Kindness, a small charity working in rural Kenya.

We run a school for 350 children, recognised as one of the top schools in our area. When children come to school, they receive two meals a day — often the only food they will have, as many are cared for by grandparents who have little or nothing to give. School is their education, their safety, and their nourishment.

Alongside the school, we run a farm to help feed the children and make the project more self‑sufficient, and a fish farm where we raise fishlings for local fishermen on Lake Victoria, creating income and supporting the wider community.
