I grew up in Wales, but I now live and work part-time in Oxford, hence the tagline “Handmade by a Welsh lady in Oxford!”
I studied Graphic Design at Bath University and graduated in 1999. I worked in the Design industry for a few years but found the work very corporate and restrictive, I felt like all the creativity and freedom had gone out of my work!
It's only in the last few years that I started sketching and drawing again and experimenting with different techniques.
I have a lovey Garden work space that is called the Hoffice! This is where I work and pack orders.
I set up Hofficraft in May 2014 with a shop on Folksy in the hope that people would like my work enough to buy it. Shortly after setting up I began taking my work to local markets around Oxford where the response to my illustrations was really positive.
I am always sketching and thinking up new ideas, it has been said that I should write and illustrate a children's book......one day maybe I will!
