Handmade fabric and yarn gifts made with love using mainly recycled materials

Hello! I’m Vanora and I live in Leeds with my husband, daughter, golden retriever and cats.

I have been crafting since I was small. My big sister taught me to crochet, mum taught me to knit and dad made our clothes, kindling my love of quality vintage fabrics, many of which feature in my products. Inspired by the Bagpuss shop and my friend’s mum (whenever I went round to play she was in her sewing room making things and showed us how to make mice in dresses out of tiny scraps of fabric) I’ve always felt the urge to find stuff and recycle or recreate it into something new and lovely.

My creations are inspired often by nature and by the materials themselves. The fabric or the yarn - the colours, the feel or texture - dictate what I’m going to make it into - from blankets to bunting, from pinnies to purses.
