Hi, I’m Helen, the maker behind Helen’s Journals.

I create handmade journals, folios and paper treasures from my home studio in Warwickshire. I love working with paper, fabric, lace, found and collected pieces, and all the little details that make each journal individual.

My background is in fine art, and making journals has become the heart of my creative practice. I particularly enjoy allowing each piece to develop as I make it, combining colours, textures and materials until it finds its own character.

Everything in my shop is made by me, usually as a one-off or in very small numbers. You’ll find everything from simple little notebooks and journals to more detailed pieces filled with pockets, tags, ephemera and unexpected paper treasures.

I hope you find something here that you’ll enjoy using, filling, keeping or giving to someone special.
