I 'paint' with wool to create textured, needle felted pictures inspired by landscapes, seascapes and nature.

Hello, my name is Maria. I am a primary teacher and needle felting artist in my spare time. A few years ago I attended a needle felting workshop and enjoyed it so much, I didn't stop!

I create handmade, original landscapes and seascapes mostly with merino wool and I love the textured, paint-like finish the wool gives. I am inspired by the beautiful Scottish Highlands where I grew up and the natural world around me.

My work is often from my own observations and ideas but I also love to create personalised gifts from customer photographs. I sell original, framed pieces and art printed gifts and welcome commissions.
