Welcome to Hats by Cressida, where statement hats and fascinators have been designed and handcrafted in London since 2001.
My love of millinery began at the Kentucky Derby in 1998. I was captivated by the glamour, confidence and sense of occasion created by an extraordinary hat. That experience inspired me to establish Hats by Cressida in the UK, combining the boldness of American race-day style with timeless British elegance.
More than two decades later, I still personally oversee every design. Each piece is handmade for weddings, Royal Ascot, the Kentucky Derby, garden parties, formal occasions and other unforgettable celebrations. My collection includes elegant fascinators, dramatic wide-brim hats, sculptural saucer hatinators, delicate headbands, perchers and bespoke mother-of-the-bride and mother-of-the-groom designs.
I work with beautiful materials including sinamay, silk, velvet, lace, feathers, crystals and pearls. Every element is carefully selected to create headwear that feels luxurious, sits securely and remains comfortable throughout the day.
Most designs can be made in more than 40 colours, allowing you to coordinate your hat or fascinator with your dress, shoes or accessories. Further customisation is also available, from additional feathers, bows and trims to crystals and other special details. This makes every piece uniquely yours.
