Unique, Hand Painted, Shoes and Acessories

Hi! I'm Hannah a 25 yr old freelance artist based in North Wales.

Trained as a professional Scenic Artist In the theatre and film industry (Where I paint backgrounds and sets). I like to use my theatrical knowledge/techniques and incorporate them into my own compositions.

Some times I enjoy the process more than the outcome, so my style is very energetic bright colourful and full of movement. 


I spend a lot of time painting other peoples designs in my job so I use Colourful Self as my personal space to make the things I really enjoy painting.

"Colourful Self" Originated from my love for anything colourful and a cheeky bit of glitter never goes a-miss. My first pair of shoes were painted for White Horse Theatre, Germany and featured in a Childrens play "The Slug In the Shoe" - (Designed by Jenny Gamble). When I saw them on stage I just loved them so much I wanted to make a 'thing' of it.

My 'Studio'.. eherm 'bespoke shed' is based at the bottom of my garden, its my little space to put some music on and experiment with designs and more technically "splash a bit of paint around everywhere".

Hi I'm Hannah a 25 yr old Freelance Scenic Artist (for the theatre and film industry) based in North Wales.

I'm really energetic and love anything bright,bold,colourful so I try to incorporate this into my designs.

Colourful Self Shoes and Accessories are carefully hand painted and water resistant (within reason) using my theatrical knowledge and art techniques. Each item is carefully painted with fabric dyes and waterproofed between layers for extra protection.

I design everything myself so each product is 100% Unique and although some items are similar no two items are the same.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
