handmade and crafted original gifts made at home for the home

I'm a bit of a home bird I love to be at home, make things for my home, and I work from home. Mostly I make things from what I find around me which is relatively easy 'cause I save everything "just in case!" For the last 20 years I have been a Community artist working with people from all walks of life on inspirational arts projects aimed at enhancing lives and environments. I treat my home the same way, it's nice to be surrounded by unique,inspiring and original pieces of furniture,paintings, things with a story or a bit of history. Wherever possible I use what I find on my travels (or in a drawer) and give it a new lease of life. I do like to make things that have a purpose or conjure up happy memories like my French style baguette bag or a shelf that holds wine bottles and glasses- happy happy!!
