A little about GreatDay4Upcycling, my day to day job is a mechanic, I`ve ran my own business since 2005 but have been in the trade 1982 and over this extensive time of losing knuckle skin. Around 2015 (one wet and miserable day) without the need to open the workshop door I found myself adding bits of broken and used car parts together to make some small sculpture or item, since then I`ve done quite a bit more, it helps greatly with the mental health.

My avatar is an example of something I sometimes make, I do have another online store but thats become an admin chore so I`m dipping my toe into Folksy and its eclectic market. I now create in metal and wood, sometimes combining the both, also woodturning has taken hold as an addictive hobby.

My workshop is located in the north Carmarthenshire hills near the Pumpsaint Roman Gold Mine.
