Capturing the beauty of wildlife in wire.

A lifelong love for nature, particularly for our beautiful native British birds, and always having been the ‘artistic type’, a creative outlet combining the two has always been a must for me.
Both drawing and painting have long been a passion of mine but creating a piece which is 3 dimensional enables me to be more ‘hands on’ and I find the whole process completely and utterly absorbing.

Working with wire comes with its challenges, stuck fingers, aching hands and safety goggles are a must, this really isn’t for soft hands, but I love it, the feeling of having ‘won’ when a piece is finished is just so rewarding.

All of my pieces are sculpted by hand using a variety of different gauges of wire, bound and manipulated to create intricacy and depth within the piece. All displayed pieces are available to order but I’d be equally as delighted to create something new and unique, I love a challenge, just let me know.
