About Pottery By Tina

Pottery By Tina

Hand thrown pottery items, made in my tiny back garden pottery studio

I am fairly new to Pottery, I started about 18 months ago having pottery classes on a Monday morning. This soon became not enough, and I was lucky enough to be able to set up my own little pottery studio in my back garden in May 2024.
I can now 'pot' whenever I want to and manage the whole process from start to finish - its a lot of learning for me, but the more I do, the more I love it. I'm still trying to find my 'signature' style but am having lots of fun looking for it (and have also spent a fortune on glazes along the way!)

My two Dachshunds Minnie and Reg will be found in the studio with me, they especially like the warmth when the Kiln is on (me too), and hubby is enjoying watching all of HIS favourite TV programmes while I am busy pottering away in the shed.

If you did want to buy any of my pieces it would make my day..every time someone does buy something I do a little happy dance and smile a lot.

I use all recycled packaging for your orders, as I am trying to be as sustainable as possible, so your parcel may look a little 'used' but I can assure you everything is packed very carefully. I recycle used clay and also the water from the clay slops is reused to water my plants.

So, happy shopping from a happy potter!
