My name is Jill and I live in a semi-rural part of South Yorkshire with my husband, a very small and enthusiastic puppy and eight chickens. I started designing my own jewellery as a hobby decades ago to make my own unique and unusual pieces. Fast forward to 2012 when I suddenly had to give up my nine-to-five job to be a full-time carer for my husband who became seriously ill out of the blue.
With my unplanned new status as unwaged carer, things became financially difficult rather quickly and that's when I started working from home making the type of jewellery that I love, then a friend asked me to make a set of Anglican prayer beads for her and I've been making prayer beads and rosaries ever since!
