Pet Portrait and Wildlife Artist - Animal lover and proud owner of a Pugalier and a Black and White Cat

My name is Louise and I live in a small village in Cornwall. I have always had a pencil in my hand from as early as I can remember!
I studied Art and Photography at school and then went to Falmouth University to study Art Design and photography.
After I finished college, I didn't really know how to pursue my art career and drifted away from the idea entirely. I ended up working within Optics and later Low Vision for many years but still had a huge passion for my art.

In November 2023, I decided to make my art a full time vocation with the support from my family. It had always been a dream but I was always dissuaded or didn't have the confidence in myself or my work. After doing many Pet Portraits along side my job, I decided to brave the industry full time. It is a very saturated area of art and you really have to work hard to try and make yourself stand out! But I love a challenge!

I have been extremely lucky this past year as I have undertaken over 40 commissions and I have sold many of my works at Craft Fairs and Markets.
