Hello! I'm Steph, i'm the face full of freckles behind Freckle and Gem. I love to make things, all things, cakes, clothes, wall hangings and of course jewellery!

I decided during lockdown to pursue a dream that had been living in the back of my mind for a long time and make a small living out of making small things. I enrolled onto an online jewellery course with the Jeweller's Academy and never looked back. It has taken a lot of courage and stern words with myself to get this far and I hope you enjoy the work that I put in to making these pieces for you.

I am on the beginning of my journey as a maker and designer and I can't wait to learn more and to share with you what I make.

Everything in my shop is handmade by me in my little home studio in Bedfordshire.
