I'm a lifelong crafter from a long line of lifelong crafters. I knit, crochet, embroider and sew a wide variety of items using the skills that have been passed down throughout the generations in my family. I also teach beginners crochet and knitting - crafts which are not only practical skills to have but also scientifically proven to boost ones wellbeing when practiced regularly.
Here at my EthnoCraft Studio, out of respect to this world I have made a conscious choice to work only with natural fibres and materials - pure wool, cotton, linen, silk, jute, hemp, nettle fiber etc, trying to do my bit in avoiding to add any more man made fibres onto this already too polluted planet. My work and designs are inspired by my deep Northern European roots and heritage which I'm privileged to be a part of.
