Handmade Crocheted Blankets, Throws, Designs and Gifts.

I am a born creative! I write, draw, design and in recent years crochet my creations into life! I LOVE colour and vibrancy, texture and unique design.

Blankets and throws are beautiful gift items. I see blankets as soft, snuggly, cosy, security. I yearn for my blanket, book, cat and cup of tea on cold, Yorkshire, winter nights in front of the fire.

But I also have them around me in spring and summer when the fire is too warm, but the chill in the evening air still makes me shiver!

And British summers mean my blankets are useful ALL year round!

I also love the concept of giving blankets as a wedding gift. Something to wrap around the happy couple, bring them close, and keep them close for the rest of their lives. And blankets for babies, newly arrived in this world and in need of the cosy security a blanket can bring.

I enjoy creating my own designs, but also using those of others. However, each blanket is unique in it's colour scheme, or border, even if the pattern is the same as another.
