how it started
my venture into jewellery making began with a passion for creativity and a desire to explore new avenues outside my content editing role in london. enrolling in a silver jewellery course sparked my interest, and my passion for the craft continued to grow as i gained experience, eventually leading to my transition into a role at a contemporary jewellery gallery and shop.
during my time there, i had the opportunity to immerse myself in the world of contemporary jewellery design, to learn from other artists, and refine my own skills. this was a pivotal time as i began developing my own unique style and working on my first collection.
i finally made the leap to pursue my passion full-time, eventually relocating to essex to focus entirely on my jewellery brand emma kate fox jewellery.
my style
my approach to jewellery making reflects my passion for the craft. and my experimentation with different materials and techniques over the years has contributed to my unique style.
my love for texture, organic forms, imperfection, playfulness, and pops of colour all shine through in my work, and silver serves as the perfect medium to express these elements.
my own design-by-making approach, involving directly manipulating the silver until i achieve my desired result. not only allows me to bring my ideas to fruition but also imbues each piece with a sense of authenticity and individuality.
the fact that every single piece is a one-off adds a layer of uniqueness and exclusivity to my jewellery making each piece truly special and meaningful.

by primarily using sterling silver, my pieces are accessible to a wide range of customers without compromising on craftsmanship or style. additionally, incorporating materials like gold, gold-filled, or fine silver into select pieces adds a touch of luxury and versatility to my pieces.
