Countryside inspired handspun and handwoven yarns and items for the home

I am a retired teacher who lives in the beautiful North Wessex Downs with her husband, pony, chickens and aged cat.

I spend most of my time spinning and weaving, gardening and riding our little black cob, Ben, around the hills and valleys where we live. I particularly enjoy spinning one-off art yarns and letting my imagination run riot with regard to colour and texture. Living in such a beautiful place means that I am never short of inspiration.

Your yarn and woven items are made in my little spinning and weaving shed - my little bit of heaven!

Buying from me

Having recently retired (early!) from my work in education, I now devote my time to my passions of spinning and weaving.

Living in the lovely, rural North Wessex Downs I love to spend time in my spinning and weaving shed listening to the wildlife, to our beautiful black cob mooching round his paddock and the chickens scratching up the plants in the garden!

I particularly enjoy spinning art yarns that I weave into beautiful scarves and items for the home.
