Give me some paper and I'll make you a journal.

I'm 70 years old, been married for 47 years, have 3 grown children and 3 grandkids.

I started crafting quite a few years ago, I got made redundant and started watching create & craft, got hooked on the Hunky-Dory card kits and it's all expanded from there. Did a stint as a Demo for Stampin Up, but that got too expensive, as I was the only buyer. Moved on to journal making, albums to begin with, then junk journals, which are exactly what it says on the tin! made out of junk, paper you have lying around your home, envelopes, paper bags, book pages, tea-stained copy paper, anything that can be folded and stitched into a signature, makes a junk journal. Well to be honest, it's not all junk, there are lots of lovely talented people out there who make digital kits specifically to be used as that base for a junk journal and you add what takes your fancy.

Back to now - retired from the NHS and moved back to West Yorkshire with Hubby. Live in a little village called Baildon. kept busy with redecorating the house, walks on Baildon Moor, collecting grandkids from schools, sleepovers, etc, etc.

No pets at the moment, had a couple of cats that we bought from Battersea Cats & Dogs Home, they lived to the ripe old age of 18.
